Driver Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the GetMeDriverPartner App and explains what data we collect from driver-partners, why we collect it, how it is used, and your rights on our platform.

• Identity Documents: Full name, date of birth, Aadhaar card, PAN card, and profile photo.
• Driving License: License number, expiry date, and a scanned copy for verification.
• Trip Data: Distance covered, routes taken, trip timestamps, and earnings per trip.
• Performance Data: Customer ratings, cancellation rates, acceptance rates, and trip counts.
• Device Information: Device model, OS version, app version, and push notification tokens.

• To verify your identity and eligibility to drive on the platform.
• To match you with ride requests from nearby customers.
• To record and calculate your earnings based on completed customer bookings.
• To send you trip notifications, pickup location, and support messages.
• To monitor safety compliance and service quality.
• To comply with RTO, insurance, and government regulatory requirements.
• To detect and prevent fraudulent activity on the platform.

• With Customers: Your first name, profile photo, and phone number are shared during a trip.
• With Regulators: Government or transport authorities may request compliance records. We cooperate as required by law.
• Background Verification Agencies: Your documents may be shared with certified agencies during onboarding.

• All uploaded documents are encrypted and stored on secure servers.
• Document access is restricted to authorized verification and compliance teams only.
• Documents are retained for the duration of your partnership plus 5 years as required by law.
• Upon account closure, documents are deleted within 90 days unless legally required to be retained.

• Earnings data is retained for 7 years for GST and tax compliance.
• Weekly earnings summaries are accessible within the Driver App at any time.
• Bank account details are encrypted and used solely for earnings transfers. They are never shared with customers.

• Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of any inaccurate or outdated information in your profile.
• Request account and data deletion, subject to applicable legal retention requirements.
• Opt out of non-essential communications.
• Appeal against account suspension or deactivation decisions.

• All data is transmitted using TLS 1.3 encryption.
• Sensitive documents are stored using AES-256 encryption at rest.
• Access to driver records is role-restricted and audit logged.
• Security testing and compliance audits are conducted quarterly.

We will notify driver-partners of any material changes at least 7 days before they take effect via push notification or registered email. Continued use of the Driver App constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
